Overview
I have above 12 years of experience in geospatial data analysis and environmental studies. My broad research areas include ecology, agriculture, agroforestry, land cover modeling, carbon stock estimation, climate change impact, landscape restoration planning, and extreme weather event studies. I am experienced in processing large geospatial data, simulate various land surface models, and handle multiple image processing software, R-programming, Google Earth Engine (GEE), and Python. I use various data and products as multi-spectral, hyperspectral, microwave, GHG, Climate, Socio-economy, Topography Socio-economy, etc. I published above 30 co-authored research artilces, 15 book chapters, presented in conferences, and co-edited several books.

The study derived Eastern White Pine (EWP) stand health using satellite remote sensing. The study developed a novel spatial layer on live crown ratio (LCR) at a landscape level. Additionally, the study generated LAI spatial layer, and integrated LCR, tree density and canopy height to develop a novel stand health index. The generated EWP stand health index map will help in sustainable forest resource management.
