Shahin is an active humanitarian worker and a social researcher who is currently studying sociology at Gono University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has a wide range of experience in emergency response, relief distribution, leadership training and mobilizing youth. Apart from that, he is a social researcher who has already worked on gender inclusivity, disaster management, entrepreneurship and Sundarbans.

Shahin was awarded this due to his outstanding service and voluntary work during the Sylhet flood in 2022. The district of Sylhet faced an immense crisis from flash floods and many people lost their homes. Shahin, with his emergency skills, reduced many people and supplied food.
