I have more than 20 years of experience in teaching, research and student supervision. My basic training is in natural science, where I have learned the complex interaction between the natural components and the atmospheric circulation. The understanding and experience about this dynamic system were gradually achieved through rigorous field observations. Subsequently, the more critical nexus between the natural and social systems learned through several interdisciplinary research hubs, where I have to lead the country team. As a leader, I always tried to maintain transparency, mutual respect and trust with my partners, beyond any personal bias. In fact, we started projecting us as Team-India instead of putting my name as Lead. The early career researchers were trained with high priority to excel in their future endeavour.
