Overview
I have 4+ years of professional experience in environment and climate change. I serve as volunteer I ACT Peer Educator at International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). I’m a member of CYMG to UNEP particularly Policy Coordination Group. Furthermore, I’m the Executive Director of Global Environment Climate and Development Foundation (GECDF). Additionally, I’m an active member of YOUNGO particularly ACE WG. Besides that, I'm an active member of Loss and Damage Youth Coalition particularly Advocacy Working Group. Also, I’m a university lecturer. I have different soft skills including demonstrating high level of integrity and continuous learning and professional development.

On 19 October 2022 in Garowe, contributed Puntland Youth Consultation Meeting on Climate Change that was organized by UNDP. The purpose of the consultation meeting is to engage with Puntland youth and explore opportunities for their effective engagement and participation in promoting environmental sustainability and climate resilience in Somalia.
