Overview

A climate researcher and practitioner dedicating to bridging the gaps between science, policy and practice to advance climate justice, building resilience, and achieve SDGs. My work focuses on the Global South, specifically covering L&D, climate adaptation, water security, and transboundary water governance in vulnerable and fragile settings. I am particularly interested in understanding how communities experience climate risks and how their resilience can be strengthened amidst poverty, political instability, escalating climate risks, and growing challenges of achieving the SDGs.

"As Paulo Freire reminds us - Knowledge emerges only through invention & re-invention, through the restless, impatient continuing, hopeful inquiry human beings pursue in the world, with the world and each other. Research is a continuous reflective process of co-producing knowledge that informs and drives action for meaningful transformative change."

Actively supported research and operational activities for the research-for-development STRENGTH project across four country teams of 22 members. Additionally, conducted literature reviews, data synthesis, and policy analysis on climate risks, adaptation limits, and loss and damage, translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights. These insights were further translated into policy briefs, blogs, evidence syntheses, and peer-reviewed articles contributing to the global L&D policy and finance agenda.
