Overview
Dr Abdul Wahid Khan researches commons, more-than-humans, Indigenous land rights and climate change in the Northern Areas of Pakistan. His PhD thesis at Oxford University looks at the blessings and struggles of the commons in Chitral, Pakistan. He is the founder of Chitral Academics, Chitral Heritage and Environmental Protection Society Youth Wing and Oxford Collective for Pastoralist and Nomadic Peoples. He has held research and teaching positions in the School of Geography and the Environment, Oxford University and at the Institute of Ismaili Studies.
